About JL Photographic
JL Photographic is a studio specialising in commercial product and still life photography. The studio is run by me, James Lindsay, at my home.
JL Photographic is based in Witney, just west of Oxford and on the edge of the Cotswolds. I can provide a complete photographic and retouching service in the studio. Alternatively, I can work at your chosen location. And if you’re not local, I am very happy to provide a remote service. Just send your products to me, and I will return them when our images are finalised.
About My Photography
A long-held passion for landscape photography has often inspired my product and still life work. I also have over 15 years of corporate and event photography experience, and an economics degree. I think this positions me well to understand what my clients want, and how to provide it.
Despite the obvious contrast with working indoors, landscape photography has strongly influenced my studio skills and techniques. I have photographed the landscape in some amazing places, and learnt a lot about light and composition. Working in the studio enables me to apply this experience to my work with clients, such as LA Hairdressing.
I enjoy working closely with clients, to make sure that I can understand their requirements. If I have the opportunity to work with you, my photography should help to deliver your message. In a world that is moving increasingly online, photography has arguably never played such an important role in doing this.

I work personally on all photography and retouching, with an attention to detail that ensures consistency throughout any project.
